Yeti Move sold, but the partnership continues

Øveraasen has entered a strategic, long-term partnership agreement with Yeti Move, strengthening the sales and distribution collaboration between the companies. This partnership is a vital part of Øveraasen's strategy to deliver sustainable and innovative winter maintenance solutions for airports, roads, and railways – a significant advantage for both existing and new customers. This agreement coincides with Yeti Move becoming part of an investor group with global ambitions.

The Collaboration with Yeti Move AS

Øveraasen has maintained a close partnership with Yeti Move, the developer behind the Yeti Autonomy Service Platform (YASP). Through this partnership, Øveraasen initiated technology development and integrated YASP into several of its machines, providing customers with world-class access to autonomy, driver support, and safety for airport operations.

"It has been crucial for us to secure continued access to this technology so that we can deliver the best solutions on the market," says CEO Thor Arve Øveraasen. The partnership supports Øveraasen's goal of driving innovation and sustainable growth in autonomous snow clearing.

Yeti Move’s New Owners with Global Ambitions

Through the investment company Yeti Invest AS, a group of investors has acquired the majority of shares in Yeti Move AS. The investors, who have extensive experience in technology and marketing, bring resources and expertise that will help Yeti Move meet increasing demand and strengthen its position in the global market. The goal is to expand the company’s autonomous technology to more industries and applications.

"We see enormous potential in the global market for autonomous solutions, particularly in winter operations," says Christoffer Herheim, representative of the investor group.

"It’s fantastic that the strong partnership between Øveraasen and Yeti Move continues. Our skilled employees and new investors will contribute to growth in an exciting global market," says Yeti Move’s chairman, Frode Kristian Danielsen.
