RS 600-Check brush and brush pattern
Check that enough remains of the brush and that the brush unit is not damaged.
If necessary, see “7.1.1. Changing brush cassettes” in User Manual.
Checking the brushing pattern:
- Start the sweeper and blower unit and position the machines on a level surface.
- Move the brush to the right standby position.
- Drive forward about 1 meter while using the joystick to lower the brush, so that the supporting wheels straighten up.
- Stop and allow the brush to work for approximately 15 seconds to get a clear brushing pattern. Pull the joystick backwards to raise the brush, stop the brush.
- Check the brushing pattern against the brushing template. The correct brushing pattern is between 85-125 mm wide and identical on both sides.
- Push the joystick to the left to change the working position.
- Start the brush and drive forward about 1 meter while using the joystick to lower the brush, so that the supporting wheels straighten up.
- Stop and allow the brush to work for approximately 15 seconds to get a clear brushing pattern. Pull the joystick backwards to raise the brush, stop the brush.
- Check the brushing pattern against the brushing template. The correct brushing pattern is between 85-125 mm wide and identical on both sides.
- If the brushing pattern is uneven, run automatic brush calibration. Alternatively, the entire brush can be adjusted using the raise/lower button. See “7.2. Automatic brush calibration” in User Manual.
- If there are any other issues with the brush, contact a workshop.
