RS 600-AP plough

Changing cutting edges

NOTE!
A cutting edge must not be worn down so much that the plough element is damaged.
When its wear limit is reached, it must be replaced with a new one.

The wear limit is marked by a line on the cutting edge (approximately 80 mm from the mounts). Each plough element has a cutting edge, and all of them have to be changed at the same time.

WARNING!
The plough must always be supported so that it is steady when carrying out maintenance. Rest the plough on support cradles or blocks. Turn off the engine and all power so that it does not move unintentionally. Risk of crush injury!

1. The cutting edge (3) is secured with four M12 bolts (1) and nuts (4) against a clamping iron (2).

2. Loosen the bolts and remove the clamping iron and cutting edges.

3. Mount the new cutting edges on the clamping iron, secure with bolts and nuts.

4. Torque the M12 bolts to 76 Nm.
