Aeroport de Paris takes delivery of TV 1000+

Øveraaen signed a few months ago a contract with the airport in Paris for the delivery of 3 pcs TV 1000+ snow blowers.
The expectations were high when the representatives from Paris Orly this week made the factory acceptance test of the first unit at Øveraasen`s plant in Gjøvik.

The TV 1000+ snow blower has a total power capacity of 1300 HP. The engines are manufactured by MTU. The chassis has a 300 HP engine and the blower head 1000 HP.

The FAT was very successful and the snow blower will be delivered to Paris during week 47.
The first machine will be delivered to Airport Paris Orly, and number two and three will be delivered to Charles de Gaulles. The delivery of this two will be beginning of December.

The delivery of the 3 pcs TV 1000+ will give AdP a considerable higher clearing capacity and this way make it possible to keep the airport open under difficult winter conditions.

To honor one of the airport`s grand old men the blower was given the name «Jacques Leclerc», who is now about to retire.
