Engine oil: according to Mercedes-Benz 228.5 / 51

Check engine oil level

Check that the engine oil level is between the marks on the dipstick (2).

Service RS 400 PL Engine oil

If the oil level is at or below the lower marking, top up to the upper marking with engine oil as per the lubrication chart. Oil filler cap (1) on top.
