Honours Award for Design Excellence

ØVERAASEN won the Honours Award for Design Excellence together with Eker Design for ØVERAASEN Performance Line!

Minister of Trade and Industry Monica Mæland presented the Honours Award for Design Excellence to Øveraasen and Eker Design on Design Day 2014.

Øveraasen is an excellent example on how a small, traditional norwegian company can use design to be more visible in a competative international market: said Monica Mælend, the Norwegian Minister of trade and industry, as she presented the Honours Award for Design Excellence to Øveraasen and Eker Design.

The family business Øveraasen and Eker Design has developed a machine taking the airport snow clearing into the future.

Innovation from inside out. The new Performance Line is according to the new environmental requirements equipped with EU Stage IV engines, and other main components have been redisigned, including hydraulic and electric systems, and of course the futuristic new look of the composite hood.

The new futuristic Performance Line includes the following models:
• RS 200 runway sweeper
• RS 400 runway sweeper
• RSC 250 compact runway sweeper
• TV 1000 self-propelling snowblower
