During the period from October 8. to 11. Øveraasen participated in the large and important Inter Airport exhibition in Munich.
This exhibition is the most important exhibition in the world for the airport Industry in respect to ground support equipment and other systems and equipment for aviation in general. The total number of visitors reach almost 20.000 people, an increase of 8 % compared to the exhibition back in 2017. Most of the visitors come from Europe, but also countries from the Far East and North America were well represented. The weather were not the very best, but in spite of that nearly 200 vistors from 41 countries were able to find their way to our stand.
Again Øveraasen and the German company Dammann had joint efforts in a common stand. Øveraasen 2/3 and Dammann 1/3. Dammann is a world leading company in de-icing equipment for runways, taxiways and apron areas. Øveraasen is acting as a dealer for Dammann in Scandinavia and has sold the products with enormous success to many airport in the area.
Among the wide range of equipment at the stand Øveraasen was proud to show the RSC 250 Front Air compact snow sweeper, the RS 200 mounted to a Valtra tractor and the brand new and astonishing TV 750 Front Cab snow blower. The receipt of the different products among the visitors was simply fantastic and Øveraasen could again prove the company’s position as the leading manufacturer of airport snow removal equipment in the world. The wide range of product can not be met by any other manufacturer in the world. In the in-door area Øveraasen was focusing on both their Autonomous Snow Removal system together with Yeti and the advanced fleet management system Fleet Cloud. Yeti is a joint venture with Husqvarna, Semcon and Øveraasen (each of then with 1/3 of the shares).
The visitors were quite surprised meeting an in-door area completely in Scandinavia style also being served Scandinavian specialities. Everything overlooked by the huge reindeer in the corner. The many visitors kept us all busy and we hope that all over visitors were received in the best possible way.
